Interested Bands:
* Chicago Afrobeat Project….wanted
to play 7-17. Group discussed no venue or volunteers,
it’s 10 days away, so NO.
*Freakbass….Looking at August
24-28 (M-F)…..Group says NO. Too hot &
too hard for successful mid-week shows.
*Tracurom (from SF). Looking at
August 7 or 8 (Fri./Sat.). OR next time since
band will be coming through LV every 2-3 months……
*Papa Grows Funk….Looking
at Sept. 5, 6. (Sat./Sun.) $1,500 plus hotel and
light hospitality. We need venue and volunteers!

Neon Reverb 2009…….Sept.
17-20…..James Woodbridge—who we worked
with last year….wants to use our sound,
they give us some $ at the end of the festival,
they advertise. Greg to put out Email to LVJBS
to have a vote. We could have a LVJBS Showcase
stage.

Helpers of Southern Nevada !
--There will be an upcoming food-drive to help
the homeless with money and/or services. This
event will be at the Henderson Pavilion. They
