INTERESTS/UPDATES:
*DIEGO’S UMBRELLA--They wanted to play a mid-week show in August. Group discussed whether or not to have them this time around. Group prefers a weekend show for this, since weeknight shows, mid-summer can often have poor attendance. More info TBA.

*SHOOK TWINS—sent an interest email for Friday, Oct. 5th (conflicts with Peter Gabriel & Dark Star Orchestra). Group says to decide on a different date and we’ll go from there. More info TBA.

*MOTET’S FUNK IS DEAD—sent in an offer. Group had discussion about the high cost. Group decided to ask about a lower price and to look into the right location. More info TBA.
We also discussed having this show highly advertised in advance.

*SISTER SPARROW—interested in Wed., July 25th or Sept. 10-13, or Sept. 16th. Weeknight show. Group wasn’t supportive of this. More info TBD.

*Basia mentioned FRUITION, a band from Portland , OR . They’d make a great opening band. Keep them in mind, to possibly open for the Motet show, if that occurs.

*Roland went to the Deer Tick show at the Aruba . Says the Aruba is pretty much the same Aruba , just had some newly added curtains to help with sound, but that’s about it.

*Roland also says, “Yay! To Jenny Minucci!” for taking the lead on getting ads and needed fliers-info out, & as the LVJBS Local Ad Liaison. J
*Roland’s pal in Arizona has an awesome Airplane hanger in the desert with Port-o-Potties! This will allow a rental area for camping. Possible future nearby location spot for music & fun! More info TBA.

*Frobi mentioned Pal, Scotty taking over the ‘Dylan’s Bar’ on Boulder Hwy , next to Crystal Palace Skating Center . Possible new name will be ‘The Clubhouse’. It’ll have a 500 capacity, live music stage and extremely Jamband friendly. More info TBA.
