feat. Erik Canzona of the ‘Heavy Guilt.’
Treasurer’s Report (Dan): We still have
$ in the bank! We made a little on the Maykers
show & lost a little on the MoonAlice show.
PAY YOUR DUES! J
Secretary’s Report (Jessica): Nothing to
report.
Committee Reports: Archive (RJ): Moksha’s
CD release show from the Hard Rock Café
is now on the ‘archive’ list. (When
the Maykers’ video becomes available, Frobi
will be able to get a copy to the archives &
those who would like one.)
Mayor’s Report (Stella): Color: Deep Purple
Production Report (Greg):
*Quactus: from L.A.-- Looking for June/early July.
Due to the High Sierra festival & a possible
conflict with “Iron (F-ing) Maiden”,
Greg to inquire about a June 11th date & a
70/30 Split.
*Bonerama: They are not available for the once
mentioned May show. Group decided to try for a
September show, possibly hosted at the Hard Rock
Café.
*Garaj Mahal: Available August 7-12 (They prefer
the 12th). Because we had lost nearly $600 the
last time they played @ $20 a ticket, we will
offer a 70/30 Split of the weekday door profits.
*Olospo w/ DJ Logic & Sustainable: They are
no longer ready to tour this way. ‘Tabled’
for now.
*Oakhurst: It was thought that the Sand Dollar
Lounge would host this show on Thurs., June 24th.
Not heard back from them, so unsure for now.
*Rebirth Brass Band: Wanting $5k-$7,500. Group
thinks it’s too steep of a price. They are
looking for August 11-15. Group decided to refer
them to the Hard Rock Café, who will send
them a ‘guarantee’. If not, refer
to BB King’s Blues Lounge.
*Emmitt-Nershi Band: Looking for a Sept. 29th
-Oct. 6th date. They are asking for about $5k-$7,500.
Group decided to ‘table’ this show,
until the west coast Fall-festivals are announced.
